Is it possible to support the fact that I need to enter an RSA login/password before you can access the OWA front end?

RSA means I have a device which gives a unique passcode everytime - therefore the application would need to prompt for this before sync.

Could this be supported??

- Same situation for me.
- My corporate OWA access requires a different RSA/password everytime I log in.
- Can Chronobis account for this option? Perhaps a pop-up box asking for our unique log-in?

Thanks. This looks like a great product :-)

Similar problem here, but not exactly...

Our corporate OWA access redirects to a universal login portal before allowing to login to OWA. But it takes the same set of login/password credentials on both pages.

Is there anything that can be done here?

All of your situations are unique, as I'm sure there are lots of other situations out there for authentication prior to gaining access to OWA. It would be very difficult to create a solution for all of these. In some cases it might not even be possible. It really depends on what happens once you provide your credentials.

For denix, I wonder if you can just access the second URL directly (since it is the same credentials). I've seen cases where the front login is just to present you with several other options OWA being one of them. This might not be the case for you, but worth a shot if you haven't already tried it.

For the other cases, it could be that some session cookie is created and is checked in addition to your OWA login, or it could be as complex as a VPN connection being set up within your browser. The latter wouldn't ever be possible within Chronobis.

Thanks,

frejos,

Thanks for replying. Actually, I was trying to say that for me it is the same URL. There is probably a cookie involved, so if it's not there or expired, it automatically redirects me to a login page. And then once logged in there it returns me back to OWA, where I need to enter same credentials again. If I enter the URL directly, it depends whether the session (i.e. the cookie) is expired or not. If not, I get the OWA pages, otherwise I get redirected to the login page.

As it may seem unique for everybody (page format, layout and input field names), it can probably be parsed and input fields regex-matched. Or it can even be scripted with XPath or even LUA. Or is there some scripting engine in .NET? I understand it would be a very advanced feature if implemented. But I'm willing to script this login nuisance myself, if there is a mechanism provided! :)

Thanks.

PS. I understand it is a freeware app and solves author's needs - I am a FOSS developer myself. I wonder how hard it would be to setup some sort of a bounty to reward efforts for writing this feature. As making the sources available is probably out of the question... :)

Hi,

I have a similar issue.
we have a SSL Portal that we need to login and then we can browse OWA.
the username and passwords are the same to the portal and OWA. Is there any way to make your software to login to our SSL portal first and then check for OWA ?

my OWA URL : https://ssl.mycompany.com/https/myexchange/owa/
your software is what I'v been looking for a long time. the only issue is the SSL Portal in between.

Thanks
